Yes, I'm serious this time. UK (weight) pounds are (were)
20 ozs, and the currency unit was one pound of silver a LOOooong

The foot-pound-second (i.e., non-metric) system used in the U.S.
was inherited from the British, so in speaking of weight, not money
(as was the original intent), a pound is a pound (16 ounces, both
in Boston and in London).
HOWEVER, are you speaking about avoirdupois weight (the common variety)
or troy weight (for weighing precious metals such as silver)? In the
Troy system, 1 lb. = 12 oz. and 1 oz. = 20 pennyweights or 480 grains.
Is this subject dead yet? (Or are we?) :^)
The answer is still $720.

| re .8 The subject is dead, we're still beating on it. I think
its a symptom of a fairly long winter that seemed to have snow rushes
that stayed around ALMOST long enough to enjoy, i.e. it always seemed
that there was a lot of snow around during the week but the week-end
thaws put a dent in cross country ski plans (for me anyway, Std
disclaimer, I express only my opinion, don't blither for anyone
else, all that other drivel...). Oh, this is "regional" of course,
they ride all year long in some areas, I'm just GMAO.
