Can anyone point me to a place where they have a wide selection
of riding apparel in the Nashua area? I know of Goodale's and Sunshine
Sports in Tyngsboro. I'd really like to find an outlet or warehouse.
    Thanks in advance.

try Catagory 1 Cycle Goods in Tyngsboro. Its not a huge place put
Paul carries just about anything that you could want. To get there
head south on RTE 3 take exit 34 and take a right, go about a tenth
of a mile and its in the Flint Plaza on your left.

| Thanks Joe. I'll check it out. I need some winter clothes and
    I'm a little picky.

| Paul at Category One can point you to Grace Jones's 'Jones
Cycle Wear' for custom made winter wear (except for Gore-Tex). Jones
can tailor most anything you could want to your measurments. Some
winter aparrel I've had them make are: Turtleneck shirts, bib tights,
bib tights with double front panels, regular tights with double
front panels, etc. If off-the-rack cycling cloths don't fit you
right, custom made is a god-send!
ps. The much traveled new Gore-Tex jacket should arrive soon:
I ordered it from Performance in N. Carolina. I sent it to Mt. Mend
in Colorado for the addition of under-arm zippers. It should return
    to Mass. today. - Chris

| Sounds like I can never be too picky. Thanks for the help Chris.
I hope you enjoy your custom made jacket. I guess I can really
get whatever I want in winter cycle wear. Thanks to Bicycle noters
I'm becoming less and less green to this sport (I just started
    seriously riding this past Summer).

    Followup report on Mt. Mend
Mountain Mend is, I gather, under the same roof as Boulder
	Designs in Boulder, Colorado. Address:
		Mountain Mend
		1580 Canyon Blvd.
		Boulder, CO 80302
		(303) 443-1925 or -1926
From their brochure: "We specialize in the cleaning, repairing and
customizing of down or synthetic outdoor equipment products. If your
item needs patching, zipper repair/replacement [or addition -cp], new
snaps/grommets, stress points reinforced, a blown out seam restitched,
	or just a good cleaning..."
They work on Gore-Tex stuff, tents, backpacks, booties, stuff sacks,
sleeping bags, soft luggage, gaitors, jackets, comforters, pillows,
etc. They can add shoulder harnesses, add zippers, add back pads,
add pockets and foam pads, add hoods or drawstrings or powder skirts
to jackets or pants, add tunnel entrances, snow flaps, etc to tents,
and just about anything else possible. They claim to have the largest
selection of Fastex fasteners outside the factory, which is also in
Boulder. Velcro, YKK zippers, you name it, they got it.
I sent a new Gore-Tex shell (from Performance Bike Shop in N.C.)
to them for the addition of under-arm ("Pit") zippers. They were very
slow (about a 2 month turn-around), but careful and considerate. The
charge was $40. I'll definitely use them in the future. - Chris
