By car (no tall trucks and not the day of a redsox game):
Find your own way to I-93 S.
Follow 93 south. When you can see downtown Boston, stay toward the
right lane. You will find yourself channeled into the lower deck that
always hear about on the radio. Shortly after the lower deck merge,
take the first exit on the right. It should say Storrow Drive. Since
you were in the right lane of three, you didn't have a choice.
The ramp to Storrow drive goes down towards ground level. (You did
the above paragraph some 75 in the air.) About half way down, some
traffic comes in from the left. Fight to stay in the center or left
	lane of the three.
At ground level, follow the two leftmost lanes into the tunnel on the
	left.
Storrow Drive proceedes to snake along the Charles. Eventually, you
will come to a long straightaway with a view of MIT to the right. Get
into the left lane. Take the exit on the left side onto Mass Ave.
When you get to the top of the ramp, make a left turn onto Mass Ave,
heading towards Boston, not Cambridge. You will see some contruction
work on the bridge to Cambridge.
Turn right (west) at the first light onto Beacon Street. This street will be
one way, so you can pick any lane.
After a long block, you go under some bridges and there will be a
traffic light and a fork. Stay with Beacon to the left; it's the more
	major road.
A block or so later you will find yourself in Kenmore square (sic).
You want to take Commonwealth Ave.. It's about a 25 degree turn to
the right from the road you came in on, and it's the right-most road
leaving Kenmore to the west. A few blocks after leaving it you should
pass a Howard Johnson's Hotel on the right. If you don't, stop and
	ask directions real soon.
Comm Ave goes perfectly straight. Follow it for at least about 2
miles, maybe 6 miles (I've never measured). You should go by B.U.,
the armory, a MacDonalds, an auto parts store (Ellis the Rim Man), and
E.M.S. (Eastern Mountain Sports). Along about E.M.S. you should get
over to the right lane. The house numbers should be in the 1000 to
	1050 range.
Two blocks past E.M.S., Comm Ave suddenly bears to the left. You
should keep going straight onto Brighton Ave. About 3 blocks up on
the left is International Bicycles. It's a one story building with
	dark red trim.
   By bike:
Find you own way to 3A south through Burlington.
Switch to 3 and follow it to Mass Ave.
Mass ave south through Cambridge to meet up with the above route in
	Boston.
		or
28 south to the Science Center. CHarles River Bike paths to Mass Ave.
    Good Luck,
	Jeff Bell
