    Taken from today's "Guardian" (UK national daily) report on the
    Tour de France:
    
    "Today the Tour continues West, passing just below Paris before
    starting the huge anti-clockwise plunge South that in the final
    week will loop up and over the Alps back to the capital. No tourist
    in his right mind would attempt such a journey in so short a time,
    unless he or she were American perhaps."
