I am looking for any information that any of you bikers have
pertaining to helmets? Last year I took a pretty good fall
off of my bike, which ended in a visit to the hospital via
amblance, and a night stay at that luxury hotel. (ha). I
am in need of a good helmet, but am confused about what to
get. Is ther any advice out there??? Thankx

HA
So you want to know the def. of a "good fall"? Last summer
the neighborhood guys (boys) and I were out for a ride which is
something that we always do. One of them was day dreaming and weaving
from the sidewalk to the road and back to the sidewalk. As he weaved
I webbed and we crashed, his back tire hitting my front and off
I fell. Apparently (only cause I dont remember any more) I smashed
the right side of my head on the pavement, was knocked unconeious?
and went into convulsions, so I've been told. I was only awaken
very grogly by the sirene on the way to the hosp. The next time
I came to was in the emergency room ware a lot of people were asking
me questions. So I thought it probably is a good investment for
this year. Thanks for the asking.

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!! A helmet is something that I never even
considered. I saw other people wearing them but always thought
they were just for mirror convience. Boy I truly know the difference
now. But all is well and we must go on.
