Hi there, The Memory expansion daughter card (FR-PCP7M-xx)is not active now, what other new products can instead of it? What situation we need to add the expansion card into GS/ATM? When we need 8M/16M? Thanks, eric [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

Eric,
What do you mean with "not active", i have just installed a few
FR-PCP7M-AC simms on line cards for a switch to be tested by a
customer.
If you look in the release notes for version 2.1.3 under "configuration
recommendations" it states:
For GIGAswitch/ATM configurations that have more then 5 line cards, it
is recommended that the master 4 port modular line card have at least 8
MB of expansion memory.

FR-PCP7M-AC has been superceded by a new part number DAGME-AB.
