I have a question on set-ups on three GS/ATM's.  Assuming that these are to 
function in a triangulated configuration, and that one of these GS will have 
the LECS, LES and BUS.  What is the set up on each of the GS's.  I believe 
that I have to use an 'export static route' menu. I tried this but the exact 
set up and, just as important, what exactly am I doing so I can work it out 
myself, it did not seem to work.  So volumes of info and pointers please.

	John, It's very hard to understand what exactly did you do and what didn't you and what was/is your problem? Did you allow for the "partial match" of your static routes (IISP)? Are you using the well-known LECS address? Cheers, Pedro

	Hi Pedro I am using the well known LECS, also I am using a partial match. But only found out this info from the support centre in Valbonne. But there is a conflict on the advice given. One source suggests creating the static rout on the GS owning the LECS/LES/BUS, and another suggests creating a static rout onthe remote GS. Which is correct ???. John

Unless you're using DEC NNI, you'll need a static route in each of the "remote" GS/ATMs pointing to the well-known LECS NSAP prefix and one in LECS' GS/ATM for each one of the other GS/ATMs' prefixes. 	Hi Pedro I will reconfigure the systems and let you know the result. There is a need for more technical information on the set up of the giga/atm. I have set up some very complex routed networks in the past including triangulated Decnis's, and multi redundant banks of decnis's using both decnet phase IV and V. So I find my difficulty in finding out how to set up what is a basic network mystifying. Regards John
