Hello,

Does anyone have experience with FORE Systems PCA-200EUX ATM PCI adapter for
Digital Unix?

Since I need LAN Emulation Token Ring Format, which is not supported in ATMworks
35x, I have no choice but check FORE systems adapter.

mode) technology, today announced the availability of ForeRunner� PCA-200EUX PCI
bus ATM adapters for DEC Alpha and IBM RS-6000 computers. Singlemode fiber
interfaces are also now available for ForeRunner� PCA-200EUX and PCA-200EPC PCI
bus ATM adapters and VMA-200E VME bus adapters.

PCA-200EUX ATM Adapters 

ForeRunner � PCA-200EUX ATM adapters support both Digital UNIX 4.0 for DEC Alpha
computers and AIX 4.X for IBM RS-6000 computers. Based on the award-winning,
third-generation 200E Series design, PCA-200EUX adapters include 155 Mbps
support and a choice of singlemode fiber, multimode fiber and UTP Category 5
copper interfaces. 

ForeThought Internetworking Software 

All PCA-200EUX adapters include ForeThought 4.0, FORE's comprehensive,
industry-leading software. ForeThought is a suite of software components that
work in concert with all FORE ATM switches, adapters, and LAN access products,
enabling network managers to smoothly migrate to ATM while protecting investment
in their existing infrastructure and applications. ForeThought supports current
ATM standards, while providing additional features required to build large-scale
networks. ForeThought includes redundant LAN Emulation Services and advanced
networking features such as Virtual LANs, IP multicasting, automatic network
configuration, intelligent optimized routing, link load balancing, alternate

Singlemode Fiber Support

for VMA-200E adapters for Silicon Graphics Challenge and Onyx computers.
