I would appreciate any consideration of the following questions:
VMS: How many LAN-Emulation Clients are supported under Alpha
Open-VMS? Is it different for ATMWORKS 350 vs. 750? If so,
what would be the numbers for each?
Digital UNIX: Cross-posted in the Digital_UNIX conference. How
many LAN-Emulation Clients are supported under Digital UNIX
4.0b? Is it different for the 350 vs. the 750 card? If so,
what would be the numbers for each? Is this documented
somewhere that I overlooked?
In searching for a specific answer to this question, I saw that
there may be a sysconfigtab parameter which they would need to
set to take advantage of the maximim number of LEC's. I would
also like to verify this under Digital UNIX 4.0b.

OpenVMS Alpha will support up to 8 LAN-Emulation Clients for the
ATMWORKS 350 and 750. We used 8 because there are 8 MAC addresses
on these adapters. Each LAN-Emulation client needs to be on a
different emulated LAN. The clients can be a mix of LAN-Emulation
and CLIP clients.

Ditto for Digital UNIX ... 8 LAN-Emulation Clients (LECs) per ATMworks 350/
750 card. However the sysconfigtab parameter, nelan, controls the system
wide limit of LECs. The default value is 4. The maximum value is 64.
