I installed LILO on my master boot record ans my system wont boot. how do I remove LILO from the master boot record and get back to where I was before installing Linux ? Also, trying to install win 95 and I get a message saying there is a virus. I think it is LILO on the master boot record that Win 95 is complaining about. Any suggestion ?? Thanks in advance

From "man lilo":
-u device-name
Uninstall lilo, by copying the saved boot sector
back. A time-stamp is checked.
If you still have Linux installed, then do this from Linux and the MBR will
be restored. If you don't, then get to a DOS command line prompt and use
the magic incantation
FDISK /MBR
to rewrite the master boot record with DOS's one.
Cheers,
Stephen.
