Does anyone know anything about the possible tax benefits of running
a signwritten company car - you know, company logo on doors, boot
    bonnet &c ?

My brother has recently started work with Mercury and has a company
Astra diesel, resplendent with Mercury logos. He was saying he'd heard
that some employees had been removing the stickers (particularly the
large bonnet logo, which IMHO resembles a helicopter landing pad ;-) and
this had caused a stir because of an adverse tax implication.

Turning this situation around somewhat, could we humble Deccies profit from
having our vehicles adorned with Digital logos ?

| I *always* had this nagging idea, to flog the spare space on your car
and make some extra cash, especially as I do a fair few miles per year.

YEh, I doubt Digital would let me, but I've always wondered about it!!

    Cheers,

| re.0: I think tax breaks are based on business versus personal usage. It would be a tenuous argument that said the car was in constant business use due to advertising! Dave. | |||||

| Didn't Digital find that when this was done in the past,
break-in's to the cars occurred much more regularly?
