    HI

I'm after some advice from all the SAAB peoples out there.

My brother has just bought an old SAAB 900 GLS (x reg) that is a non
runner- he has been offered an engine block from a SAAB 99 for 50
pounds - Does anyone know if it is possible to mate the head and
gearbox from 900 to the block of 99. Or if anyone has done engine
change on a SAAB I would like to hear comments, experiences or problems
    they have encountered.

    Thanks in advance ....

    Pete.
