Many years ago I tried an additive cleaner, can't remember the
name, and this cleaned my FI out, and is a lot cheaper than a garage.

You slimply add the cleaner to a tank of fuel, but I noticed that it
gave some extra umphh the the fuel as well.

| | Can't comment on the additives for cleaning injectors, but
they are probably worth a try (although I personally would not
    use them in a turbo-motor).

I know that Turbo Technics in Aldershot are listed as Bosch
fuel injection specialists - perhaps you could give them a
ring and ask what they charge, and what results you can expect.

There must be other F.I. 'specialists' nearer to you though,
a look through the yellow pages may help.

| | I take my car to a tuning specialist, and they feed a special fluid
straight into the fuel supply rail above the injectors. This stuff
costs about $Aust. 40.00 a can. The engine runs on it for a few minutes
and it does a good job of improving performance. It improves idle
    smoothness as well.
