    Is it a characteristic of XR3i's in Ireland only
    That the rear suspension is so soft under loads that
    the car is fairly useless on anything but excellent smooth roads
    (and I might add these are in very short supply over here), when
    carrying 5 adults or 4 + luggage
    
    I have a friend who has the same problem.
    
    (both cars 1989 25K and good condition)
    
    Is there a handling/stiffening kit available?
