After yesterday's race he is supposed to have said that nothing has
changed, and denied joining Williams in a 7 million deal.

Mansell was definitely driving with a lot more enthusiasm and
commitment yesterday than we've seen of late. Something must have
caused that? Was it just a decent car?

Apparently, a clip on breakfast television this morning had him
saying (of a possible move to Williams) 'You'll have to wait and see'.

No news is good news? Well certainly, given the number of outright
denials he's made so far, it is a definite shift in position.

Personally, I think he should quit if he's lost the motivation, but
he didn't look like a driver lacking in motivation yesterday. If he
does go to Williams I just hope he doesn't spend the season whining
about how Williams/Renault can't give him the equipment to beat
    Ferrari.

Amen to that! I'm not a person who follows any one driver closely - however
all of the leading drivers get up my nose sometime or other - the above well
describes Mansell.
BTW, I haven't seen yesterday's race yet; however there's a photograph in
today's paper of Mansell, Senna and Prost holding hands on the podium. Was this
some sort of "trick photography" - or did it really happen? :-)
Cheers

           After all everyone else being signed Mansell has two chooses;
    1. Retire
    2. Sign with Williams.

| | Regarding hand holding:
Mansell was in great form on the podium. First he grabbed Senna, hugged
him. Prost stood quietly at the other side. A bit later, Mansell
grabbed the hand of Senna and Prost and held them both up.

    WHAT ABOUT THAT:
Over a period of two years,Mansell ,with a better car
scored less points and victory's than Boutsen.
    	 Why should he go ?

You call running a Non Turbo car against Turbo anything a better
car. When Williams lost Honda Mansell drove a car with a Normally
asperated engine a Judd Piece of SH*T I believe and Williams has to
today be a best the third best tem in F1. Come On.7

| | John Watson, on Eurosport said that he was pretty sure that Mansell had
decided NOT to continue with Williams - announcement Tuesday.
Mind you, a reply in 837 says the announcement is today - never know who to
believe!
The last two Grand Prix, Mansell has been so gracious on the podium - shaking
the hands of his rivals, waving at great length to the crowd etc. I wonder
whether he is glad to be back - after such a long absence, or is soaking it up
prior to finishing his career?
