I had a look at the new Citroen AX 5 door model yesterday, while
    my BX was being serviced.

Seems like a reasonable 5 door supermini, with adequate room.

The 5 door has a premium of about 220 pounds over the the three
    door.

The top of the range is the 14 TZS, which has a high specification
    at 6,764 pounds.

Dunno why, but the 5 door seemed much roomier than the 3 door,
but the salesman didn't think it was on a longer wheel base,
    like the Renault 5 is.

    Peter.

| Opening a new chapter......

Just been to the citroen ride-drive in DP car park. Picked up an AX
brochure (as my missus has one) opening it I realise it's different.

This is the NEW AX!. Outside broadly the same, but minor changes to
tailgate. Smoother lloking dash, with softer switches and a 3 spoke
    steering wheel. Generally plusher.

Also inside was info on the new GTi !.

1360cc, 0-60 8.2 ventilated front disks, ABs option, central locking
with remote control, electric window switches now on door, not far away
    on dash.
